Tagg just had to have an icee at the ball park.  After, he had to wrap up in a blanket, because he was shivering.

That's how he got his (now healing) owie.  I wish I could get it on video sometime - I'll have to try.  It's pretty comical.

We got Mom and Dad a combined Mother's Day/Father's Day gift.  A HIGHWAY 66 sign for their pole out front.  Turned out great - thanks to Zac for getting it installed :)

Focus Direct had their 7th annual Sports Fest.  I guess Landon and Cody really got into it.  Apparently Americans are much more competitive than Filipinos.  It was an all day event, including basketball, badminton, and TONS of other games.  I know Kacey will post about it soon, and you've probably seen these pics on FB if you link to Landon's wall, but I really wanted to post my favorites.  Landon was always into Football and Baseball and Wrestling.....I don't think he played Basketball after about 2nd grade.  I would have liked to see this white boy JUMP !!

Sometimes being a Grandma involves things that make you go "EW", or in Treyson's case (GAG!).  We got home from the 1/2 marathon and when I lifted Thatch out of the carseat, I noticed he was drenched?  I knew he had been somewhat rained on, but I didn't think it got him THAT bad.  By then he had walked out to see the turkeys.  I pulled his pants down, and surprise surprise !  Treyson was about 2 feet away, and thus the GAG.  I thought for a minute I was going to have to clean up TWO messes.

I picked up him up under the armpits, and took him straight into the utility sink, where I proceeded to disrobe him, piece by messy piece :)

He was totally cool with the whole thing of course.  He is such a sweetheart !  I may not be able to eat cottage cheese and mustard for awhile though :)

Ogden Half Marathon

Treyson, Thatcher and Gwen braved the heavy rain to support Zac.  CJ and Tagg had soccer, which ended up being cancelled because of the rain, and Roger D. was at work.  Zac wasn't sure how he would do, since his legs had been hurting him, and he hadn't run much.  It was possible (but not likely)  he would cross at about 8:15.....we got to the finish line at 8:10 am

I stood back by the building with Thatch, while Treyson watched by the fence.  Good thing he had sharp eyes, because at the 1 hour and 33 minute mark (GREAT TIME) less than 5 minutes after we had arrived - "Dad, just ran by !!"  I completely missed him, but not Treyson !

A completely SOAKED Zac did so well !!  His legs felt great, and he said he could have completed the entire marathon.   Way to go ZAC !!

In the first game, Treyson didn't get a hit.  In this league, there is no fudging.  Three strikes and you are out !  I understand in the latest game (that I wasn't able to make -  he got 3 hits !!  Go Treyson !!

This little one messing with the bats is going to be keeping all of us on our toes this year :)  No more sitting on the lap like last year.  He wants DOWN, and to run around. 

He made it to THIRD BASE !!  Tagg is batting left handed, but throwing right handed.  Grandpa is excited about that !

Yes - this is an ELECTRIC car.....or I guess you can say it's a Hybrid as it runs on gas also.

Totally HI-TECH, with touch screens, etc.

No, not filling with gas..........but with ELECTRICITY !!

Cam being VERY careful, with both hands around the handlebars.  If something gets scraped, it will be her knuckles, and NOT the cars :)

The goal is to run this car on total electricity, using the gas as little as possible.  It is a totally GREEN car, and I was able to drive it a little bit.  It has this little digital green ball, that you try to keep within a circle on the screen in front of you.  As long as you are driving with it in the circle, and not accelerating or braking too fast, you are driving to the maximum of efficiency.  It really makes you change your driving habits. 

Flying Allegiant Air - Ogden to Mesa

Just parked my car (for FREE!), now just need to walk to the terminal.  Not too far :)  I did hear once inside, that they may start charging for parking in the future. 

After security, waiting in the departure room.  It was pretty empty at first, as I got there about 2 hours early.  It filled up to full capacity before I left.

This ramp contraption gets us on the plane.  It's very a very short walk from the building.

Here comes the plane.  It just landed, and is taxing back.

After I landed in Mesa, we had to walk a little bit further to the terminal.  This picture is looking back towards the plane that I just got off of.  I still have about the same distance or further to walk to get into the building.  

When I boarded in Mesa to come home, they had us boarding from the front AND back.  I was in seat 25F, so I went up the back steps. 

Now - if you ever want to fly Allegiant Air from Ogden to Mesa, you know what to expect !
